Our mission is to create a safe(r) space where Indigenous students can feel valued, heard, and celebrated.
Welcome to the Mawandoseg Centre – a warm and welcoming space dedicated to supporting Indigenous students at Carleton University!
We take pride in addressing the unique needs of the diverse Indigenous communities both within and around the university. Our goal is to foster a sense of belonging and empower Indigenous students on their academic journey.
But that’s not all – we’re also here to build bridges and foster understanding among non-Indigenous students. Whether you’re curious to learn more about Indigenous cultures and histories or simply want to connect with others, the Mawandoseg Centre is the perfect starting point.
The Mawandoseg Centre aims to be a safe(r) space for Indigenous students at Carleton and works to address the specific needs of the various Indigenous communities in and around the university. The Centre is also the leading point of contact for non-Indigenous students looking to connect and learn more about Indigenous cultures and histories.
