CUSA Signs MOU with Mexican Embassy

CUSA met with the Mexican Ambassador to Canada, Carlos Manuel Joaquin Gonzalez, to sign a memorandum of understanding. This memorandum will help provide students with new opportunities through CUSA’s Opportunity Hub.
CUSA Goes to City Hall to Discuss Transit

CUSA sent a delegation to Ottawa City Hall, in order to meet with Councillor Glen Gower and Mayor Mark Sutcliffe. We discussed concerns from students regarding transit reliability, the opening of the O-Train, service cuts, and receiving regular updates from OC Transpo.
CUSA Meets with MP Chad Collins

CUSA Delegates to Transit Commission

CUSA Tables for Ottawa Nightlife

CUSA hosted a tabling event and gave away free snacks to students in order to collect thoughts about access to the nightlife scene here in Ottawa.

CUSA’s Advocacy Team spoke at an Anti-Austerity Rally at City Hall, on behalf of the Ottawa Student Alliance (OSA), and hosted a sign-making event and sign-up at Carleton.
CUSA Delegates to Housing Commission

On January 15th, CUSA delegated at the Panning and Housing Commission of City Council in favour of an anti-renoviction bylaw proposed by Councillor Ariel Troster.
